So far: Bulgaria no 1
I didn't manage to make a top ten list of the songs selected to ESC so far, since the quality of the entries isn't the best this year. However, these are my 5 favourites:
1. Bulgaria: Deep Zone & Balthazar - DJ, take me away
Crazy and unique in this context (see videoclip)
2. Iceland: Euroband - This is my life
YES! More eurodance in Eurovision!
3. Greece: Kalomoira - Secret Combination
A good song with ethno tunes. But.. I wonder if her live perfomance is strong enough..
4. Ireland: Dustin the Turkey - Irelande douze points
Great song.. If only the bird could shut the hell up.
5. Lithuania: Jeronimas Milius - Nomads in the nights
Powerful and emotional ballad that might be able to stand out among the Molitva-wannabees.

Greek final at 21.00 tonight!

All is set for the greek final tonight and this year I hope the webcast works.. I find it very strange that only three artists compete, maybe ESC is not that popular among singers in Greece. Anyway, this year I like all three entries so I don't really mind who they'll send to Belgrade. Here's my ranking though:
1. Kalomoira - Secret Combination
A great song performed with a great voice and also a very good pronounciation. From what I've heard I think the refrain might be a bit too weak.
2. Kostas Martakis - Always and forever
A good song and Kostas has a very pleasant voice. I've heard a few others of his songs and I find them very nice.
3. Chrispa - A chance to love
Also a good song, but in ESC it might not be able to stand out. I really like the ethnic sounds.
Whoever wins tonight, good luck to Greece! ;)

After the 2nd semi

The songs in this year's Melodifestivalen has so far been ok I think. Two of my favourites, Amy Diamond and Sanna Nielsen is in the final, which I'm happy about. I'm even happier that Carola and Andreas didn't qualify right away. Hehe, the look on her face was priceless. Anyway, in the semi in Linköping I guess BWO has a good chance of qualifying, but we'll see.

Markoolio in MF?
According to gylleneskor.se it seems like Markoolio is regretting turning down the offer about taking part as a wild card in MF this year, with the hit song "Värsta schlagern". Are we going to see him in MF already next year? The comic entry trend will probebly not decline, considering Verka's success in Helsinki. But for some, it didn't work that well (for example Romania, France and Israel). So how would Markoolio do? In MF, quite well I think. In Eurovision, not sure. He's got this genuine swedish humour, which I find very amusing. But perhaps the rest of Europe won't understand why home-made vodka & coke in an inflatable swimming pool is such a great mix for a perfect summer. ;)

Love is Mihai!
Mihai Trăistariu's new album is called "Love is..." and his two singles to come are "Love is high" and "Puerto Rico". The album about to be lauched and I can't wait to hear more songs from the man with the best voice :D :D Enjoy this performance of "Love is high". Hoping to see a video clip soon :)

San Marino to enter already in Belgrade?
I hope so. Since Italy most likely never will return to the contest, it would be nice to hear an entry in italian. I don't count Latvia's terrible pronounciation this year in Helsinki. I doubt San Marino would choose to send a song sung in english. We'll se what happens, but wouldn't it soon be better to organise two semi finals?
